The Meadowvale Minor Novice team (ME021) was at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Tournament March Break Classic from March 10-13 and won the tournament in their division. There were 6 teams in the division and the final game was a nail biting 3-2 win over Durham.
LPC Wild 021 won the Brad Pearsall Memorial tournament this past weekend.
This tournament was nicknamed the “Muskoka Moms Tournament” to thank all of the mothers for all their hard work with the team this season. Moms were treated to a wonderful night out by the players!
The team would like to thank the South Muskoka Hockey Association for hosting such a fantastic event.

Erindale Bantam White 92 Spitfires won the Bantam “A” championship in the 51st Annual Newmarket House League Hockey Tournament on Saturday. The kids made the final with a 3-0 victory over Newmarket 1 and a 3-1 win over Newmarket 2. They outlasted a very strong East Gwillimbury team in the final winning 3-2. It was a total team victory with goals scored by all three forward lines and a great team defensive effort lead by our goaltender who was our tournament MVP.
We want congratulate the Newmarket tournament organizers for hosting such a fabulous event. We also wish to thank players, coaches and parents who made this so much fun. Congratulations kids.
LPC Wild Atom White Win B-Championship at Detroit Motown Cup
The tournament took place in and around Detroit, Michigan. LPC played its first game at the legendary Joe Louis Arena, home to the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings, and beat the Livonia Bruins 6-0 giving the kids (and coaching staff) a 1.000 winning percentage in NHL rinks. The team played a great tournament, going 2-1 in the round robin, with the 5-3 loss coming at the hands of a very strong Fort Wayne select team, after having led 2-0 and 3-1 until midway through the third period when Fort Wayne finally took and held the lead to the end. The team bounced back and handily dispatched the Huron County Barn Burners 6-0 in the B Finals. Congratulations to all players and coaching staff on a terrific tournament, and terrific season to date.
The Meadowvale Hawks ME032 was one of 16 novice teams to compete this past Family Day weekend.
The tournament featured 16 teams playing 3 round robin games. ME032 advanced to the semi-final game to compete against the Oakville Red Devils and came out with a win of 8-4.
Their final game of the tournament was against West London, which was the 5th game of the day for each team. However the long day resulted in a terrific final game, which featured a loud crowd and great hockey. The game saw West London jump out to an early 5-2 lead, however at the 14:51 mark of the second half, Meadowvale started the comeback, scoring 4 unanswered goals to mount a terrific comeback, and win the 2017 Dodge Caravan Kids Cup.
Congratulations to the players and coaching staff of ME032!
The drive to Dresdon Ontario was worth it for the LPC Novice Red team who came out as the undefeated tournament Champions of the Dresdon Kinsmen Cup.
Way to go boys!!!
