Port Credit Minor Bantam Red #83, were winners of the Bradford House League tournament held January 12-14th.
The team went 3-0 through the round robin, first beating West London 4-3, scoring with 22 seconds left in regulation, then Erindale 7-0 and finally North London 6-3 to advance to the final.
The final was played early Sunday morning in the old Beeton Memorial rink, despite the cold temperatures outside and in, the whole team continued their “hot” play winning the gold medal and trophy defeating the North London team 4-2 in the final.
Great effort to all players, Mario, Tiago, Dean, Colton, Sangat, Marcus, Matthew, Sarah, Anna, Rowan, Noah, Aidan, Connor, Ethan, Jack and Liam. Big thanks to all the parents for their efforts getting the kids to and from the rinks despite some difficult weather.
