The Phantom Wolves went into the 41st Annual Woolwich Wildcat Tournament this past weekend and came out Champions in the Red Division.
Playing their fifth game in three days, and only a three and a half hour break in between the semis and the final, the boys were exhausted and it showed on the ice, being out-played for most of the 1st period but still coming out tied 0-0 thanks to the awesome performance from their goalie and MVP of the game, Conrad Gardner.
Going into the 2nd and 3rd periods the entire team showed a lot of heart and character, due largely in part to the loud support from family and friends. Four hard-fought goals came from Parsa Amin, Mark Vella, Ethan Ramlackhan, and Evan Blake resulting in beating the Beverley Bandits 4-2 to take home the Gold.
Congratulations Wolves!!!
