Meadowvale Hawks 103 Minor Midget Red claimed the gold medal at the Rebels Mania Tournament over Thanksgiving weekend in North York. Three well-played wins out of four games in the round robin landed them in first place going into the final games. They won a hard-fought semi-final 3-1 and headed for the grand championships. The Hawks brought their well-practiced systems to the fore and kept penalties at bay which translated into a nailbiting 4-3 win in the final for the Hawks. What a great way to gel the team at the beginning of the season. Thanks to the coaches and the parents for all their support. Great job boys!
