Hometown Hockey is coming to Mississauga – Dec 22nd and 23rd. Now in its fifth season, Hometown Hockey will feature Mississauga during its Sunday NHL broadcast, highlighting local culture, hockey history and unique stories. We are thrilled to host Rogers Hometown Hockey in Mississauga and showcase our beautiful City to the rest of Canada.
In conjunction with the Sunday NHL broadcast, the MHL is looking for one hockey player, aged 14 to 18, to represent their Association and our League during the Hometown Hockey weekend. Responsibilities include talking about the NHL game being played, helping to choose the 3-Stars at the end of the game, and other duties to be determined. The candidate must be an MHL registrant and a Mississauga resident who is articulate and outgoing with a love for the game of hockey. If this is you, please submit a one minute video to your Association’s HTH contact highlighting why you think you’d be the perfect candidate to represent the MHL. The candidate must be available December 22nd and 23rd. Submission deadline is November 25th. One candidate will be nominated from each Association and the winner will be chosen by the MHL and notified by December 10th.
