City of Mississauga

The City of Mississauga offers a number of programs at its many facilities to compliment your team’s training regimen.  Pre-season shooting, skills & drills and goalie programs (among many others) are available with the City of Mississauga for your players and teams.  Visit the City of Mississauga web-site for complete CITY PROGRAM details and opportunities.

MHL Resource Library

Did you know that the MHL has a small Resource Library available for MHL Coaches?  The library contains the Hockey Canada drills manuals for goalies, half ice practices and all age groups from Initiation to Midget.  There are a number of instructional DVD’s and VHS tapes in addition to all of the books at literature.

Coaches can obtain materials from the library during regular MHL business hours and can sign out the materials for a week at a time.  If any individuals would like to donate materials to the library, the MHL would be delighted to have them!

Hockey Canada – Breakaway Resources

Hockey Canada has an on-line store called ‘Breakaway’ which has many valuable resources and tools for Coaches.  The Hockey Canada Skills manuals, Team Canada Skills of Gold 8 – DVD Series, Teaching Checking Resource Package, as well as Goals Video Series Special just to name a few items.
