It is an excellent sign, we have been receiving a large number of inquiries about the 2020/2021 MHL hockey season. Many people have been asking about the return of hockey to Mississauga, specifically the plans of the MHL and our six Area Associations.  Although we currently don’t have the return to play plans worked-out we can provide an update on how this may be moving forward.

As the Province of Ontario continues to advance through the various stages of the pandemic, we felt it would be a good time to provide an update to those who have been inquiring about the return to play.

In the coming few weeks, the GTHL, the governing body of the MHL, will be circulating a plan to the Minor Hockey Association Members which will include more details on plans for return to play.  The MHL, the Area Associations, and the City of Mississauga are working together preparing for the return of hockey.   When we return to play we are assuming we will need to put the pieces in place quickly to deliver the programming you have come to expect from the MHL.   The season may look different.  Items we usually prepared months in advance may be short notice deliverables.  Our goal remains the same though, to deliver the same fun environment you have come to expect year after year.

Rest assured we have not been sitting idle during these times and we continue to prepare for the return of hockey for the MHL and the six Area Associations.

We will provide further updates as soon as we have more to share.

Please remember, registration is open and a $50.00 fully refundable deposit is your best chance of reserving a spot.

Stay safe and healthy and thank you for your patience.
